Feliç diada de Sant Jordi!
April 23rd, 2008

At Dani’s Blog you can find his trip journal and the photos we took in Santa Cruz and Los Angeles.
I’ll write more… You can always check the complete journal in Catalan.
Los Angeles: With my friends from Barcelona
San Diego: A couple of days in whale’s vagina and having fun with the people from the hostel.
Tijuana: Quick tour. I’ll come back.
Rosarito: Fun. Just a small USA colony within Mexico. It was good running across so many people from UCSC!
Ensenada: Beautiful. Feeling real Mexico with Svenja and Max. La Bufadora was magnificient!
San Felipe: The warm water of the gulf was so nice. And so were the views.
Mexicali: So different from the rest. I changed my plans again and didn’t stay.
Tijuana: Having fun with the locals and trying to dance with them was a great experience!
After the break, it’s nice to be back in Santa Cruz. What you see here won’t happen anywhere else. This morning in the bus there was a girl with a rat in her hoodie.
I’ll post the pics from the trip soon.
Yep! One year more. I wanted to thank those whom were here and all those who remembere my birthday despite the distance. Thank you very much!
Yes! Eventually we visited Google with the ISMA. Definitely, all the rumors seem to be true. It is a good place to work. Its hard to get in tough.
The guide told us many weird stories about the things that happen around the campus. Do you know that they have a dinosaur?
The title of the post is just an excuse.
Last weeks have been kind of crazy.
First the bad weather, then the good weather (with the projects and midterms, yummy!). And now I’m done but I keep obfuscated. This next weekend looked so promising but I don’t know I still messed it up. Oh, just came out of the AI quiz… I wanted to cry.
Ah, it’s done now. Here you are some pics, from the visits at Cisco Systems and Oracle with ISMA and a couple of OPERS outings.
I just experienced that awkward feeling. I just walked by a class where they were greeting the students for the midterm with the Star Wars soundtrack. Scary. I better get back to my study…
It’s funny how many ways you can tell they are here. I like the indicator of the number people sleeping in random places around campus. I’d like to take pictures at some funny ones. Those who fall asleep over the computer, or in the middle of the library (and they snore).
Yesterday, when I left the computer lab at 2am, there were still people microwaving disgusting cafe in order to survive night-long over there.
I must clarify to my friends over there that there is some kind of distinction between the US citizen and the californians. I found this list. It’s funny to me.
Californians are better because…
My “family” took me to the Mavericks surf competition in Half Moon Bay. I just gathered some random pics of them.
Navidades, ese momento del año en que uno quiere estar con la familia…. Pero no todo el mundo…Christmas, that time of the year when people want to stay confy at home with their families… But not everybody. Some of us would prefer traveling around.
Christmas at the east coast was nice. Comments for the photos soon.
